Marc Felicio starting making Neapolitan pizza at home, as a hobby with his family. That hobby quickly turned into a passion…and that passion has evolved into Dacosta’s Pizza Bakery!
Marc purchased a 6,000 lb wood-fired pizza oven built by acclaimed oven maker Stefano Ferara in Naples, Italy and began training with Master Pizzaiolos at the Associazone Verace Pizza Nepoletana (AVPN), an organization that promotes and protects the true craft of Neapolitan style pizza. After two years of training, the first location of Dacosta’s Pizza Bakery was opened on August 31, 2016.
Dacosta’s menu is inspired by the authentic, wood-fired pizzas born in Naples, Italy. Only the finest imported and locally-sourced ingredients are used, along with artisan tradition and family values to bring the definitive Neapolitan experience to our guests. In addition to wood-fired pizza, we offer a variety of salads, sandwiches, pasta, desserts and more.
Our fresh, never-frozen dough is made in-house every day, using all natural “OO” Molino Caputo flour imported from Naples, Italy. Our dough is prepared 48 hours in advance in our state-of-the-art, climate-controlled Dough Room. There are only 3 simple ingredients that are added to this finely milled flour, Kosher salt, water and our sourdough starter. This process produces a delicate and light, slightly charred dough, that is full of flavor.
